As you know, Kendrick Lamar‘s sophomore major label album To Pimp A Butterfly was released Sunday night. After the song broke the Spotify streaming record Monday by being streamed 9.6 million times, yesterday it broke that record by getting streamed 9.8 million times. While these streaming numbers are insane, the sales numbers are respectable. The album is set to sell 300-325k first week (350-375k with streams included). He told 242k first week with his debut major label album, and with physical albums still getting pushed out to stores, these numbers should surely go up.
