Her name, Charlie Houston, her goal, to make beautiful relatable music, by the youth, for the youth. With songs as strong as “Calls,” she’s going to have no problem attracting likeminded souls with open ears. The song immediately grips the listener with how damn smooth that bass line is and on top of it Charlie feels at ease, as she effortlessly pours out her emotions while waiting for that phone to buzz.
