Remember the eccentric kid with the pink guitar all over TikTok last year? Virginia-based Patrick Witkowski has finally arrived with his debut single “Nuisance”. After hundreds of viral TikTok covers, this new original song is a feel good indie-rock groover. It’s rare to see TikTok singers make the successful transition to cross over into original music, and Patrick is making a solid case to be one of the few.

The verse is immediately catchy from the first second, and his distinctive scratchy voice feels like it came straight out of a late 2000’s rock hit. His lyrics about “not wanting to be a nuisance” are also a perfect match for his idiosyncratic persona online. While it’s early, this kid is really talented, and I’m really looking forward to seeing how far this can go.
