Drake has been notorious for giving his music to Apple Music for exclusive streaming rights for at least its initial release. That has left consumers on other streaming services out to dry in the past but it doesn’t seem like it will be an issue with Drake‘s forthcoming project More Life. The project that Drake calls “a playlist” is set to drop this Saturday, March 18th and while there’s still yet to be official word on how it will be released, we’ve got all the clues compiled.
Amazon Music has its own streaming service and sources close to the company have confirmed that the project will indeed be streaming on its platform as soon as it’s released according to Pitchfork.
If you need some closure on how More Life will be released this Saturday, here it is. In a statement to The Fader, Apple music told them, “tune into Apple Music’s Beats 1 this weekend for an epic and legendary next episode of Drake’s OVOSOUND radio.” So expect the album to stream on Beats 1 radio on a new episode of OVO Sound Radio on Saturday night and after that stream (or by midnight EST), the album should be available on all streaming services for your on demand listening pleasure.
