Brandon – Mourning

I stumbled upon Brandon back when he found himself on Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist last year with his song “Equinox”. His stage name being just “Brandon” was a little offputting but I knew this kid was special just by how he replicated a lot of Frank Ocean techniques, but I could also spot the areas of improvement very easily. Today that California kid is back with his third song and the kid’s certainly improved. He sounds more confident and more at home on “Mourning” and he’s nestling into his own sound. I absolutely love this song already and I’m just on my second listen. That’s sure to be in the double digits a little later today. Have a listen for yourself below.
