Toronto’s no fad and it continues to prove that it’s an ever-expanding hotbed of talent and in that pool is VAL. He just recently dropped the “Louis” from the front of his stage name and he removed quite a few songs from his Soundcloud, a mini transformation from a budding artist.
VAL has a relatable down to earth voice but most importantly he’s a very good songwriter already. It’s a shame that he took down a couple of the best examples of his songwriting but his skills are still rising and growing without a doubt. “9teen” is a good, smooth example of who VAL is as an artist so do check this one out and expect to hear a lot more from him in the future.
