Today’s quickly turned into a sad day as we learn of the news that Prodigy, famed Queens rapper of Mobb Deep has passed away today at age 42. News is sparse so far but Nas broke the news just minutes ago on Instagram and a few notable people have confirmed that the legend has indeed passed away. The word is that he’s passed away from complications with Sickle Cell disease.
